We take much pride in our broodmare herd at J&R. Our mares are a combination of our own replacement fillies and both branded and nonbranded individuals we've purchased. Each mare contributes her own unique assets towards our breeding program. We always have been of the opinion that not every mare is fit to be breeding stock. Our broodmares are held to high standards of conformation and performance in themselves as well as that exhibited by their offspring.
